How do I book?

A: Register for access to our online Booking Portal by clicking [here]. Simply use our live calendar to check availability for your job dates.  Add the items you want to the cart and submit your order.  Simple and fast.

Is all of your stock displayed on the website?

A: We have a much more extensive range on our Booking Portal. Sign up via our website to see the full range and book online.

Do I get the exact items that I select in the booking portal?

A: The Booking Portal shows you the availability of the goods for the dates you select. We will guarantee these items 12 days prior to your installation date. In the unlikely event that the previous hirer of an item has extended their term, we will be in touch at least 12 days before your installation date to arrange a suitable alternative.

Are my items reserved once I add them to my cart?

A: A firm booking is only created once your job quote is finalized and the deposit has been paid.

Is there a minimum order amount?

A: No, however delivery and collection charges will apply.

Do you have a minimum hire period?

A: Yes, we have a minimum 4 week hire period for our standard pricing. Extensions can be made for 2 week periods after this initial hire period. Please contact us on 13004SOLVD should you wish to discuss shorter hire terms.

Can I cancel my job early?

A: You sure can, after the initial 4 week period. Just give us one week’s notice to cancel and we will credit the unused hire fees.

Other hire companies offer deals like 6 weeks for the price of 4. Why is SOLV’Ddifferent?

A: Our pricing is deliberately simple and transparent, and we offer competitive rates for the newest on-trend furniture and accessory hire. We don’t mark our prices up in order to discount them. No hidden costs and no compulsory add-ons.

Am I liable for the stock in the event of loss or damage?

A: All goods on hire are at your risk.  You will be required to pay for any damage that does not amount to total loss.  You have the option of paying a $100 liability waiver per job to provide insurance coverage for total loss.  If you don’t take this option, your liability will be limited to $1,000 per incident.

Can I view the products before hiring them?

A: Should you wish to see our stock please contact us to make an appointment – we’ll be happy to show you around.

Can I add/remove items from an order that I have already placed?

A: Yes – just give our SOLV’D team a call or send us an email and we’ll take care of it for you. Unfortunately, once you’ve submitted an order online, you aren’t able to amend it within the Booking Portal.
